New app to help Australian businesses export
The Turnbull Government is helping Aussie businesses become exporters through a new app launch today.
Export Essentials, now available for Apple and Android devices from their app stores, is the first of its kind specifically targeting the export community.
The app has been developed to help both new exporters and more established businesses.
It covers a range of topics ranging from an introduction to exporting, through to more advanced content such as managing currency risk, finance solutions and export licences and regulations.
The app contains a wealth of information, templates and key contacts to help small businesses develop and implement their export strategies and it also provides a comprehensive contact list of organisations to help businesses achieve their export goals.
Information in the app will be updated on a regular basis to respond to changes in the local and global environment.
The app is the latest tool from the Turnbull Government to help small businesses become exporters and take full advantage of the free trade agreements with the three north Asian powerhouse economies of China, Japan and South Korea.
Export Essentials, developed through a partnership between Efic (Export Finance and Insurance Corporation) and the Export Council of Australia (ECA), is available free of charge for both Apple and Android devices from their app stores. To find the app simply search for "Export Essentials" in the app store.
