Nextweek I will lead a major trade mission to Indonesia to help create more exportopportunities for Australian businesses.

Indonesia-AustraliaBusiness Week follows the successful visit by President Widodo over theweekend.

The120-strong Australian business delegation will build further momentum toconclude the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement(IA-CEPA).

IA-CEPAwill create the framework for a new era of closer economic engagement betweenour countries, creating new opportunities and markets for Australian exporters.

Witha middle class of more than 45 million forecast to grow to 135 million by 2030,there is enormous scope to expand our trade and economic relationship withIndonesia by supplying the growing needs of Indonesian consumers withAustralian quality goods and services.

Indonesia-AustraliaBusiness Week (IABW) is designed to develop business opportunities in key areaswhere Indonesian demand aligns with Australian capability.

IABWwill highlight opportunities in vocational education and training, tourism,financial services and technology, water and sustainable urban design andagribusiness supply chains.

IABWwill be held from 6-10 March 2017 in cities across Indonesia.
